Family Member's Names: Husband, Kyle
Occupation: Part-time: energy consultant for the family business; Other-time: crazy school mom
What inspires you to be a Woman of Hope?: St. Augustine said this about his faith: "You have made us for yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in you." Doing the hard work of guiding people's hearts to the truth about their value and dignity has huge, long-lasting and far-reaching impact. It saves lives, and it frees people from seeking acceptance in unhealthy places. Knowing that Tyler has an organization willing to fight this battle for our children, families and community gives me hope, and it's an honor to have a small role in this important mission.
What ways are you involved in the community?: I'm a founding team member and former Board member of Tyler's Promise Academy; our family is a Gospel Village mentor; and I'm on the Caldwell PTA Board. We also lead a community group at our church.
What is a fun fact about you? : In a past life, I worked in communications for an international organization that partnered with communities to help bring them out of hunger and poverty. It was an absolute dream come true!
