What inspires you to be a Woman of Hope?: Hope is a monumental force. The power found in a hope for something different, for something better, can move people to action. My inspiration is that in my conversations/ presentations/ promotions on behalf of For The Silent, one person may find hope that the overwhelmingly dark and sinister nature of sex trafficking can, in fact, be impacted by their individual attention and involvement. If all of us at FTS keep inspiring one person at a time toward action, we will have amassed an army in the battle against an injustice we have no hope of righting alone. I hope to help educate, train, and spur to action those that will, in turn, be moved enough to do the same. In the face of an inhumane evil that is so entrenched in humanity's shadows, my vision is that of a multitude of individuals all working toward the same seemingly unattainable goal, each using their unique assets and abilities and spheres of influence to rescue those that suffer, to prevent future suffering, to care for those who have survived the horror, and to ultimately eradicate underage sex trafficking in our community.
What ways are you involved in the community?: 10-12th grade girls youth leader at South Spring Baptist Church
